Today two people went into our residence for the reason of safety. These two people are couple who are into the business of supplying safety gadgets for LPG consumers. Last month there were also two safety personnel who say that they’re from a company who does the installation of safety device for LPG tanks. They did the job and we paid 2,300 pesos for the service and the device. At that time I was not really convinced of the effectiveness of the product but since we felt so worried and afraid of the danger of not having that particular device, we just let it be done on our tank. By the way it is called LPG Anti-Leak Device which acts as a circuit breaker for an LPG tank. Whenever there’s a leak along the hose this device will cut down the flow of the flammable gas from the tank preventing it from catching the flames from a burning stove. I visited a lot of shop, malls, and even the famous hardware shops in the town but none of them sells it. I was just trying to prove it out that there is no mall or shop which is licensed to sell this device because according to the safety personnel only specific safety companies are allowed to distribute it.

Now let’s go back to these couple who visited us today to check if we have had a safety device. One person looked upon our tank’s attached safety device and he seems to be so dismayed with he saw. Well, I must say that the installation was really disgusting. He explained it to us that the attached device on our unit is much older version of the device that they have. He also added that the connection was cheaply made and the device itself was even dangerous. He showed us their own product that they have in their bag and when I saw it, I felt disappointed of why I trusted those previous guys who just faked us. Though the price of the product of this couple was seemingly high, I know it is much better that the one that we had. I hope we can afford to avail on this current device because it is much safer. They also have the other one which a bit expensive but the device explains why is it like that. As I have seen, it is equipped with several parts which I know is compact. I can still remember that I have an analog meter for us to know how much it the current amount of gas inside the tank, the safety device is also integrated inside it, and it has also a regulator knob which will be useful for several adjustments. If I am to choose among the two, I would point the much expensive one because safety is a matter of investment. Now, we didn’t avail on it because we still need to coordinate with my sisters about what to choose but I hope they will consider this.

I have a very close friend who seemed to be very wise in terms of spending money. Actually he has several bank accounts wherein he deposits his money every after the payday. I asked him so many times of how much he gets after depositing his money to his accounts. He said that he only allows himself to spend ¼ of his salary. He admits at me that he must bear in mind that he needs to discipline his inner self because according to him, he is a onetime spender. He explained it that last 2006 he was an over spender. His money is made for spending in just a single hit until he found that he’s too abusive on his earnings. That’s why after that year he started to change the way his life is going. He tried to apply for a bank account and he started to limit his daily living. He said to me that everything will bear fruits afterward. So he also convinced me to learn from his own experience and do my part as a self discipline.

Today Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAG-ASA) reported that the hottest temperature of this year struck Metro Manila. According to the report, a 37.3 degrees Celsius of temperature was measured and recorded by the PAG-ASA weather bureau at their headquarters located in Quezon City. So far, this is the latest official recorded data about the current condition of our country environmental health. This is the highest temperature of the year which surpassed the last one which was 36.8 degrees Celsius. According to source of this news PAG-ASA weather bureau advised all citizens to be prepared always because this might get worse in the next few months from now. It got all of this information by watching the ABS-CBN’s TV Patrol News which is aired daily.

This is a short video of the annual festival in the Lapu-lapu City. The festival is called “Battle of Mactan” celebrates the victory of our first Filipino hero Lapu-lapu, during the attempt of Ferdinand Magellan to colonize the place. Lapu-lapu is a datu or tribal leader of Mactan during his time. He was known to be the first to oppose, fought, and defeated Ferdinand Magellan who was on the quest to colonize the place of Lapu-lapu. I got this video from YouTube when I thought about the celebration of today.

Whaaaa! I forgot to watch my favorite show! What a mess! I was concentrating a lot on my browsing not knowing that it’s already 10 o’clock and my favorite TV show was about to start. I am talking about the show called Misteryo that I used to follow every Sunday evening. it was a minute before 11 o’clock when I remembered the show and when I hit the remote control to channel 27 the episode was about to end. The host was about to say goodbye and say thank you to the viewers. I am so sad right now and I felt like I miss a single moment in my whole life. Well, maybe this is too much. I hope to see it next Sunday again when I am conscious of the time.

Sunday is always a holiday. I always love Sunday especially that I treat it as a grand finale after a very long week. And during this day, I know that my favorite shows are again about to be seen. Just like the episode of ABS-CBN’s Rated K wherein they featured a blacksmith industry in Pangasinan. Well maybe its sounds generic for everyone but I must say that this one is different from the rest. At first I thought of it as a basic metal working shop but then when the host started to expound the things that this maker was able to make, I was then so much surprised. Aside from they are known to be great in making swords and other metal products of the same kind, this particular metal working shop was also able to mark a line in the history of the movie scene. According to the documentation of the show, they were the one who produced the sword used by Frodo in the movie “The Lord of the Rings”. It is not only that because they have done and produced a lot of swords that were being used in many movies. It was awesome great and I felt so proud of their skills.

Pilipinas Got Talent just got better since the first level of the nationwide search reach its end. Because of this the competition is on its way to the next level. Today I watched the Saturday episode of the talent search and it was really fine. Though in some ways I felt sad for those people who weren’t able to jump to the next edge but still it worth a moment to see the best of the best being judge by what they have done. So, now the ball keeps on rolling and I am so excited to witness the coming episodes of this show.

Our number one problem in our house is the dust that is usually appears on the floor. Mother used to fix it by sweeping it up not knowing that it could even worsen the situation. It is because every strokes of the broom brings up a slight flow of air which could make the dust scatter. So it must be a very severe solution for the problem that’s why I suggested using floor mop. With this cleaning device, I am sure that the problem will be solved because there are no external forces anymore which could lead to the spreading of the dusts.

I went to the house of my friend’s grandparents. it was actually an ancestral house of their clan. The house was composed of a several old structures. And, what I love there is the loft wherein the transform it into a room where the collections of their grandparents were displayed. All the old stuffs especially the antique wardrobe of their grandma which seemingly very old. It was really nice because the house was so clean and though there were no air-conditioning system, the place was still very pleasant. Although we didn’t stay any longer, I still enjoyed the trip to the house of my friend’s grandparents.

We are currently planning for a house renovation but our budget doesn’t meet the total expenses of our ideal plans. We tried to think of a possible working solution to suit our budget calculations. So, my father told us to do it slowly with the consideration of the budget which means that we will not be ordering for a general renovation and instead the work will be done for just a single section. Now, the builders are currently working on our kitchen area and it will be done maybe after this week. That was a very nice try and yes it was really helpful.
