She Asked. I Laughed

I had a deal with my cousin. We both know each other’s secrets that why she tends to ask me about things related to marriage. She knows that I have a girlfriend who used to be her classmate and one of her friends. She asked me, “Hey, how do you prepare for a good future for the both of you?”. Hearing her saying the words “future of the both of you”, I was laughing so loud and trying to mislead the talk to other subjects. But she was so courageous and she told me “Stop it! You’re trying to make a fool on me. I’m trying to ask you a brief question and that’s it. Consider giving me a good answer.” I though she wasn’t that serous about that matters. So because I was shocked with her sarcastic question, I tried to think about what will happen in the future for me and my girlfriend. At the end of my furious brainstorming, I was able to give her good reply to her concern. I told her that it is a plan to merge my life to her and live together to fulfill the destiny for us. I added that I need to prepare for that moment so that everything will be fine for us both. And that, my cousin seemed to be mesmerized by my seriousness to the point that she was so silent and wanted to hear more.
